Evelyn is Co-Founder of Datawatt. She has more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy and has held executive level positions with various independent power producers. With more than 25 years of legal experience, Evelyn has negotiated a number of complex financing transactions building infrastructure around the United States and in developing countries. She has a deep understanding of the challenges facing energy start-ups and highly-regulated infrastructure companies and the opportunities available to innovators who can encourage the continued growth and development of renewable energy worldwide.
Throughout her career, Evelyn’s has led several noteworthy renewable energy transactions consisting of project acquisitions and related acquisition financings; construction, backlevered, holdco and mezzanine debt financings, tax equity financings and energy hedge transactions. Evelyn has also been responsible for the legal aspects of the development, construction, financing and operations of over 1 GW of renewable energy projects in the United States in her roles as General Counsel of Element Power and General Counsel of First Wind.
Evelyn is a graduate of Cornell University and Fordham University School of Law.
David is Co-Founder of Datawatt. He has more than 20 years of renewable energy experience and has held executive level positions at several renewable energy companies.
With more than 30 years of finance and management experience, David has been instrumental in the growth of several start-up renewable energy companies and has led the execution of numerous first-of-kind renewable energy transactions across North and South America.
David was previously CEO of the Americas for global wind turbine technology company Goldwind Science & Technology where he led the commercialization of Goldwind’s innovative wind turbine technology in the North and South American markets. Prior to Goldwind, David held senior finance roles with wind energy developer First Wind, global energy company Enel and independent power producer InterGen.
David is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and is a Certified Public Accountant.
